AcChen ======== - fast, arcade style 'find the matching tile' game - 50 level + 10 Bonus level - AcChen is OpenFeint Enabled: Unlock 8 achievements and access the global high score list AcChen is a simple to learn find the matching tile game - similar ( but different ) to MahJong. AcChen is more arcade-style than MahJong. It contains a lot of different levels ( 50 level + 10 bonus level ). Each level takes only a couple of minutes to finish. Rules ===== Find two items with identical symbols. The tiles will disappear when you can 'connect' them with a line, that has two or less 'turning points' ( right angles ) in it. See also 'Help' screen shots: Green ways will work ( 2 corners ), red won t ( 3 corners ). Advance to the next level when the board is cleared. One level can contain tiles in up to 3 layers. You can combine tiles on different layers. If you pick a tile from the top layer ( like in the a screen shot below ) only tiles on the top layer block the way. In general: if you pick items from different layers, the upper most layer is used for the search algorithm. Sounds difficult but if you give it a try you will figure in no time... ;) Tiles with the same symbol might be located on top of each other. So the fastest pick ist not always the best. Solid Tiles ----------- Solid tiles can t be removed. YinYang ------- If you pic a pair of YinYang the next picked symbol will be completely removed from the current level. If the last pair you pick is a YinYang, you keep this special for the next level. Time Bonus ---------- From time to time a tile is surrounded be a flashing red frame. If you can remove this item within 15 seconds, you receive +10 seconds bonus. Bonus Level =========== Every 5th level is a bonus level. You start with 4 tiles and have to fill up the map. Every time you remove a pair, 4 new tiles will appear. If you manage to fill up the whole map, you receive a 100 point bonus. If the time runs out before, you advance to the next level. After finishing a bonus level you receive an extra YinYang-Hint-Item. Scoring ======= The first successful pick scores 0 points. The next pick within 3 seconds, scores 4 points, within 5 seconds 2 point. After finishing a level, the remaining time is added to you score. StartScreen =========== Not much to explain here. One thing to mention is the continue option. When you lost a game you can restart it from every 5th level once you have reached it. For example if you lose in level 7 you can restart at level 5. The practice mode is like the normal game but without the time limit, bonus maps and score. Bottom In-Game Menu =================== If you are locked up in a level you can surrender the game with the left button. Touching one of the YinYang buttons, selects two matching tiles in the game map. If you touch one of the selected items, the items will disappear. You get an extra YinYang-Hint-Item after finishing a bonus level. You can collect a maximum of 3 hint items. The right button activates the pause mode and the OpenFeint access- tapping somewhere will deactivate the pause mode. Have fun...
